With two younger sons in the Virginia school systems, Mansour understands the importance of expanding public school options for low-income youth, including magnet schools, charter schools, teacher-led schools, and career academies.
The platform focuses on neglected goals, not merely dealing with sleazy aspects of democracy. Goals are tangible touchstones, providing clear targets as well as a basis for accountability. The continued failure of the political establishment to make progress on core goals is also irrefutable.
